Losing Weight : What do you do?

Ok, so I'm looking to lose maybe 5 or 10 pounds within the next two weeks, and am looking for some ideas on how to do this. Exercising and eating right, of course, are some good things to do, but what else can I do?

While I'm not sure why you think you need to lose any pounds, my lovely friend, here is a thought or two:) If you need a snack, eat popcorn. Unless it has butter or butter flavoring, it has very little calories but can be quite filling. Don't drink sodas, as they not only have too many calories and way too much sugar, but they do not truly quench your thirst. Try water or coffee instead. Remind yourself several times daily why you want to lose weight. Don't beat yourself over the head saying "I must" as that will only make you want to rebel and pig out on stuff. Good luck :)

Well I've changed my lifestyle and stopped eating so much junk food. And I exercise too. I am also eating my meals in small portions. But now that I'm writting my new novel I'm eating junk food here and there because sugar is the only thing that will make me concentrate on my novel and not do something else. So if you change your lifestyle a bit and exercise you'll be fine and you don't have to lose so much weight at once. I know that I am taking it slow and taking it one day at a time.

You have to get into the right mental frame. Post yourself a reminder of why you want to lose the weight on the refridgerator and the pantry. That's just to keep you motivated. Besides exercising and healthy eating, you may also look into portion control. Eat five small meals, instead of three big ones. Things like that.
