What is that all about when Brian dresses up in a banana (?) costume and dances proclaiming that its Peanut-butter jelly time. Maybe this is something every American fan knows, but we in the UK are clueless

We are just as confused over here as you are, well at least I am. It states in the epsidoe that he dose it to cheer peter up but there is no explanation as to why or how the whole song and dance came about.

I can remember when Brian did that.
But I don't know what he is referencing.
I love that show, but sometimes the references
to popular culture escape me.

There's a dance that goes with that song. It's a rap song. But the reason he dressed up in a banana, I don't know.
