Do you ever actually read the ads that you click in PTCs?

I was wondering this because I don't. Most of the ones I see are just for get rich quick schemes which I don't believe in (like how you can make $3,456 in one day..). I know that they're just scams and so I don't want to read about them. This makes me wonder whether anybody actually reads them. I suspect that most people using PTCs probably don't believe these ads (otherwise why would they be clicking PTCs for $0.01 a time?!) So how do the PTC sites actually attract advertising and make any money? It's a mystery to me
