My hubby is about to deploy!!

Hi bubbles, I hope you don't mind me answering this discussion, I am not a military spouse but my sister is an officer in the U.S. AirForce and she has been deployed to Iraq 3 times already. She is a single mom and I help her with many of her affairs when she is away. With todays technology we can keep in contact via the internet which is great, no need for that old fashioned snail mail. I send her many care packages that she and her buddies just love to get and I love sending them to her too. I commend and thank all the men and women of our armed forces for their loyal and outstanding work. I pray she remains safe and look forward to her return home. I wish your husband a safe tour of duty and a safe return home too...Support our Troops!
