This morning I was getting ready and the light hit my face just right and I seen this long hair. I know all ove you have them. I plucked it right out. I think it has to do with getting older these pesky little hairs. Someone told me if you shave them they grow back darker. Do you pluck or shave them. Where do you get them?

Hi, This could be from getting older or hormonal.I think my whole face is quite hairy but it is very fine and blonde so i dont have to worry about darker hairs but i do get a very long one every now and then and mainly on my cheek.

I pluck the majority of my unwanted hair. I do shave the hair on my upper lip though... I've always had it and it's rather dark. It does not grow back darker like some say.

If you've got a few, I'd say plucking is the way to go. I've got a girlfriend with PCOS and she has more than a few so she just shaves her chin every couple of days. It doesn't make the hairs come in darker or thicker, regardless of what the old wive's tales will say. They might look darker and thicker because they haven't 'aged', but that's about it. I've got a few to the right of my chin and they drive me nuts!

I have one that grows on the left side of my face. I pull that sucker right our everytime I see it! I usually just pluck it out with my fingers. I'm not sure it has anything to do with getting older because mine has been there for as long as I can remember. And I would worry about any hair growing back darker or thicker if you shave, that's a total myth.
