I don't believe in this at all. I am single and I have using pearls as an earrings. I like to use it because it gives a little bit of attractiveness, unlike my other earrings. My friends likes pearls too! Until one day, my friend warned me as somebody also warned her. Single women are not allowed to wear earrings, I don't know why, but they say that when the single girl becomes attached to someone that someone will die. True enough, my friends boyfriend die due to an accident, car accident. Out of the three persons, only his boyfriend died. And suffered a terrible damages on his body. Do you know something about pearls? Is it really true that it brings a curse to single women is wearing it? Why?

Curses like those should be a solemn appeal to a supernatural power to inflict harm on someone or something. In English Folklore, although invoking God's power to curse is generally done by the clergy, in previous centuries some lay people who believed themselves deeply wronged would utter a ritualized curse, kneeling on their bare knees in some public place in the presence of witnesses. Cursing through black magic was greatly feared, and is mentioned in many witchcraft trials and traditions. Occasionally, material objects are found which definitely prove that someone had been turning theory into practice. No doubt others too vented their anger in similar ways, using whatever magical rituals they knew; a more recent development is the belief that Gypsies can lay potent curses. So, if curses are like that, there should always be someone else who wishes harm on others. Not necessarily anyone can be affected. Curses are meant for particular individuals by those who have intention.

So with that, the pearl has nothing to do with it? Right? Maybe it was really his time.

Now here's for pearls on Folklore, Legend, and Healing Properties. Cultured or freshwater pearls are considered to offer the power of love, money, protection, and luck. Pearls are thought to give wisdom through experience, to quicken the laws of karma and to cement engagements and love relationships. They are thought to keep children safe. Early Chinese myths told of pearls falling from the sky when dragons fought. Ancient legend says that pearls were thought to be the tears of the gods and the Greeks believed that wearing pearls would promote marital bliss and prevent newlywed women from crying. - bernardine.com But that's just how people from before regard pearls with.
