I will miss XP for sure!
I have been using it for a long time and love it. I wouldn't go for Vista just now because there are many softwares which don't have a Vista compatible version, or those who have a Vista compatible version, I will have to go through a lot of install/uninstall pain, files compatibility issues and what not!..so holding on it.
For me XP rocks.

Well, who is Microsoft to stop the release of XP?Oh yea, they were teh creators.Yes,they have the right to stop the release of XP.
But,they can't force anyone to use Vista instead of XP as 75 % of them won't.Who wants Vista which takes a life time to log in and log off?
I read somewhere that a key Microsoft partner has said that they would stick with XP.
If Vista was good, people would have automatically changed from XP to Vista. But,people feel that Vista is not up to the mark with lots of bugs and Vista takes a much more disk space than XP.
Vista has a lot of features which are quite unwanted. They only slow down the system.I would definitely stick with XP.May be if Microsoft releases something better next time,I will think about changing my XP.
All I can say is one thing.Microsoft would fail miserably in asking people to change from XP to Vista.People won't change because its not worth it.
Cheers! Have a nice day
Happy mylotting and happy earnings.

I'm still using only Windows XP. And I'm not that inclined towards vista because it takes up a lot of your memory and not all softwares are compatible with Vista while I can use any S/W on XP. But if the produciton of XP is gonna stop ill surely miss it. Better I have a copy of XP as a backup in case my sys gets a problem
