What do you think about Windows Vista, is it good or need improvements (I don't state bad cuz no OS is made for worst). State your experience here, and how you recommend it to others for everyday use and in business... What do you think?

As an IT professional, i can honestly say that not a single one of our clients have Vista. I would not recommend it to them. My partner has Vista on her laptop, but i have no problems troubleshooting it. In general terms i suspect our phones at work would ring more frequently if any of the clients used Vista. The only likelihood is the home users as Vista has no logical use for businesses, despite the variety of versions released.

Well, I terms of business, Vista is not yet recommended for this time, I agree that, just like XP before....It's huge in resources that you need to upgrade PC's to run fine, when in business like internet cafes, it very expensive to buy licenced vista copies in lots of PC.

I know many people have had problems after upgrading to Vista, but since I bought my laptop with Vista pre-installed I have no problem with it. I am not into gaming or downloading music or video, and my main internet usage is for searching, using interactive sites like myLot and uploading files. I like the security features and I feel safer using it than the older versions of Windows. I am now used to the look and feel of Vista. For my purposes it works just fine.

I won't recommend it because it won't let me install proven, safe programs. from the internet. Also, I can't open files from other people's storage devices. Vista stinks!!!

Well, while my experience Vista hasn't been bad overall, there have been slight annoyances. For instance, finding locations of certain functions in Vista was extremely unfamiliar--even more unfamiliar than when I started using Ubuntu. If you're using it in business, well, I wouldn't really recommend it. It also depends on the type of business your doing, obviously, but Windows XP and several Linux distros might do a better job than Vista. For personal use, Vista isn't so horrid.

Well I think the another annoyances might be User Account Control, we there is a way to turn off it; As for UI well for me it didn't bother me & I feel more easy & simple to use with it's redefined UI but it reduce familiarity to other peoples... I use Ubuntu too & it's a pretty good OS too...it's very stable & customizable. Thanks for your opinion. :)
