I am looking for a good homemade recipe. Do you have one to share?
Waffle Iron Day celebrates this great kitchen gadget that makes tasty waffles. Waffles are cooked between two metal plates. A waffle iron is powered by electricity to heat the plates and create, light waffles ready for you to top with syrup, and/or your favorite fruits.
Waffles are not just for breakfast. They are good for lunch or dinner, too.
The origin of the waffle: The waffle dates back to the 1300s in Greece. Greeks cooked flat cakes between two metal pans. At the time, they topped it with cheeses and herbs. Pancake syrup wasn't around back then.
Thanks!

Please people post some waffle recipes. I want to make some tomorrow when I wake up. It's almost my bed time and it would be awesome to wake up and find some new ways to make waffles.

I don't have one personally but I remember once my friend's mother made us some one day with chocolate and banana in it! I'm not really sure how she went about it, but it was very good!
Also, happy waffle iron day! :D lol

I have never tried chocolate and banana mixed together. I hear it is good - I just can't bring myself to try it.
Thanks for the response!
