Well, the best way is to learn to say no. You really didn't give much detail, so I can't really go into it, but it really is that simple. No, I'll take that back, it is NOT simple to say no, but it is the only thing that keeps people from walking on you.

You can always say no. If you think that someone is just using you for their own gain then don't do them any favors. But if it will also benefit you, then assist by all means, just make sure that you get some credit for the things that you made especially if it is in a work environment.:)
