I give my 12 year old daughter $10 a week for lunch. I don't have to worry about her forgetting it or it being stolen, etc. She gets a warm lunch that carries her through the day better than any cold lunch I could pack. Our school is great, she can even buy a salad if she wants, but she usually opts for the warm lunch.

Well if its for lunch money its all good, but other then that then he has to earn his money.
Like for my kid he likes to help out so every time he does a chore I only give him a dollar, No more then that...so he only gets a dollar a week.

It's really too much.I think you shouldn't give it too much unless he is really need it to do something.I think if you give him too much it will make him have a bad manner.
