I have been married 13 years to my husband. We have been together for 18 years. Make sure to always be honest with each other and communicate. Respect each other and trust each other. When you argue, never say something that you will regret later just to hurt the other's feelings, it will make a lasting impression. Most of all, take time to love each other.

My husband have been married for only 6yrs but we are constantly talking to eachother. I believe communication is very important in a marriage. Dont let the little things get to you, they create un-necessary tension. If something bothers you talk about calmly that way both of you can understand eachother.
Over all enjoy eachother's company. Make time for your selves as a couple and alone. We all need our own space at times, respect eachother and allow the other time to them selves when they need it.
Most of all Love eachother like you have never loved another before.

I have never been married but always remember to keep your relationship spiced up no matter what. Because sometimes things can just get old.
