Slowly but surely I am choosing "Best Responses" out of over 34 pages of topics I have posted throughout the last year or so! So hopefully there will be some positive surprises for some people from topics that they undoubtedly don't even remember answering anymore!
My conscience has got to me and I have decided that this is the right thing to do! Will take me a LONG time yet to catch up though! If you are one of the ones who gets a "Best Response" gift in your age old stocking then thank you for making my topic discussions more interesting for me!

What I do is catch up best responses whenever I want break from whatever else I'm doing. It is a great way to relax.

I am looking at your picture RYBD and imagining the Elvis voice coming from it! lol. (Priscilla... get me a sandwich!) Yes I too see this whole site experience as an escape actually and I am also finding it interesting to see how may topics I have actually posted too!I don't know WHAT I was thinking with some of them????? Thanks for responding.

I've only been here a little while so, I haven't responded to any of your previous topics. However, something told me I should slip in here quick with a glass of sherry and some mince pies because I'm sure you'll be in need of sustinence after spending so long on your sleigh doing those deliveries. I'm also leaving some carrots for Rudolph and friends.

That is great. I am giving best response too but of course, the response needs to be very good so that I will give best response.
I am enjoying myLot and enjoying rating responses. Marking best response is a tough task when there are a lot of responses in a discussion.

Yes I agree that it is difficult to find a best response when there are many responses! What I am having issues with though is deciding whether I should mark a single response to a topic as the best response or not? I don't think that I should if it really isn't a response that has had a lot of effort put into it. Thanks for participating in my discussion.

Fair enough and I agree! However some of these topics have one response and one response only; yet they have been online for well over a year. I think in these instances I can safely assume that there will be no more responses and either ignore the single answer or mark it! I think that if the response that IS there is vague then I will just ignore it.

It all depends on what the definition of "benefit" is really! The reason why I chose to go back and do this is because I have always felt good when someone else takes the time to mark one of my responses as the best; and felt that it would be a nice gesture to do the same in return! Thanks for participating in my discussion topic.

My goodness! You have your work cut out for you. I guess I should go through mine some day. I know I don't have as many to go through as you but it still seems like a daunting task.

Oh believe me! It is most definitely a daunting task! lol. But I am getting there! And once I HAVE complete4d this task I am sure to have a wonderful feeling of accomplishment! (And my advice, if you DO think that you may wish to do the same yourself; start now before you see how many you have to back track on and almost have a heart attack like I did!) Thanks for responding.
