Where we were before our birth and where we will be after death?

It is an international platform and most of the members would, sometime, think about on the subject mentioned above. Therefore I am interested to put this question before our members as to what their thinking on the subject matter. My thinking is that all human beings had born and died many times on the earth and they had lived as birds, animals or humans. They will continue to born again and again, till they reach purity of the soul. When they have fully purified soul then they themselves get mingled with God and never born again. What is your opinion?
