Yes of course, I would feel like not so good about it, we have tried so much to have original discussions and end up being copied without effort.

I have had friends who "copied" me. It could get annoying sometimes. More often than not, I get irritated. However, I do not really waste my time thinking about it. What I do is to think of the saying that "Imitation is the highest form of flattery."

I had a friend when I was younger that would try to do the same things I was doing or try to dress similar to me. She was actually a little younger than me. I try to ignore it at first and figure maybe she looks at me as though I'm her role model. I didn't want to ruin that good friendship. After a while however, I couldn't take it anymore. I told her that she had to stop. She needed to learn to be her own person. She should never be the follower and try instead to be a leader. She was upset with me at first, but she soon got over it. She realized I was right and we are still friends today.

Back in high school I had a friend that would copy me all the time and get the credit for it. I would express something that I would want to wear and the next day she would be wearing it and I would be made to look stupid to our friends we had in common. Most of my true friends saw through her facade and even the ones who were not true did, but she seemed to have control over us. I ended up stopping being friends with her several times but would mend our friendship only so that she would not call so much, because while we were not friends she would call a lot. I think that she only wanted to copy me because she was jealous but i'm not sure. Have a Great day.

The truth is,i don't seeany bad in a friend copying you,if your own attitude or behaviour is good.As a christian,we're told to be a light unto others and so if my friend(s) are copying what i'm doing, then i'll thank God for that,it shows i'm a good example for other to start to emulate me.
That's just my own opinion about that.cheers

If there is just one friend who copied us... then YES, its annoying. But if there are many of them, then we should be proud of our self (hey, I am a trend setter! LOL).
How to deal with the annoying one? Change your style regularly. If it doesn't work (wow, you must be very stylish or have a very good taste), then it means you have an admirer. Just let the poor one (like him/her) have a little taste about "how it feel to be stylish!". ^_^
