Your star is your rating or reputation. If you move your cursor over your star it will tell you your rating. It is all about how many +'s and -'s you get. If you get a + your rating goes up if you get a - your rating goes down. Happy mylotting!!

You're welcome. When you reach 200 you can use the mylot code. Which is smilys and being able to bold and whatnot.

a star can add your earnings,when you have posted 100 post,you will get one.
it has different colors and different levels.
if your post good quality responses,you will get a high level.
the higest level is 10,and the star will turn to blue then.
you are a so hardworking girl(lol)

now your level is 6,and you can earn 1-3 cents/response.
you can get a higher level when people rate a "+" to your response.
If your level is 10,sometimes you can get 5 cents/response.
:) so it is quite important to make good quality responses.it is the best way to earn more but work less.

i got my first star one week after i signed up mylot, and it's 7, a not bad number and rating for a one-week member ,i think. the star does mean your reputation and others' rating on you, if you can't respond to all the responses, someone will get upset and will rate you down. lol.
