The other day at my wife on a mini vacation where there was an ice cream shop called Coldstone Creamery.
They took ice cream and mixed it with raspberries and blueberries and strawberries right in front of your eyes.
It was some of the best ice cream I have ever eaten!
Is there anybody that has eaten there before, what was your thoughts about it?
What is the best place that you have been to eat ice cream and what kind of ice cream do you like the best?
I believe the ice cream that I ate was called Berry Berry Delicious.
Would love to hear your thoughts
Thank you
Zelo (please don't tell my trainer and I cheated and ate ice cream!)

I have never tasted fresh churned Ice cream from a ice cream shop. I have tried making it with not so great results. I have a favorite ice cream it is maple nut or Pecan if maple nut isn't available and the best place to get it is from the Schwan's ice cream truck that comes around to ou house to get ice cream and food orders. Schwan's has the best tasting it is so rich and creamy tasting with fresh berries and flavorings. (They also have the best and creamiest frozen yogurts!) I won't tell yours you ate ice cream if you won't tell mine I ate a hot dog..lol

Thank goodness they have fat-free and low-fat, otherwise I would be as big as a house...lol I will have to ride extra and do double time on the bike tomorrow to work that hot dog off..We catch them maybe once a month to get stuff off them.

Hmmm, I still prefer to have berries and add ice cream to my coffee.
I am not big Ice cream eater, but I love to add vanilla ice cream to my espresso....

I love coldstone also. Luckily there isn't one too close to my house!!!! The first time we went in, we didn't know what we were doing and wound up spending way too much money. I know now to order a concoction that they already make up, and not create my own because that's where the real money is spent.
My girls love it there also!!!!
Shh!! I won't tell!!!!

Oh I've tried this before already! It is definitely good but quite expensive. I know it's because they use quality ingredients but I can only spend so much for ice cream. Personally, a better alternative to coldstone is dairy queen. There used to be one near my area and I'd go at least once a week to try their special flavors. They also mix in real ingredients with vanilla ice cream just like coldstone does. The difference is just the price and the availability of flavors. Have you tied Ben and Jerry's as well? It's a US brand and I'm so glad that it's available in the Philippines. Even though it's so expensive, I have it once in a while for a real good treat!

I don't know if I can even compare them to Dairy Queen. The quality of ice cream is so much higher.
Because I eat ice cream so in often, I don't mind paying $6.00 for a bowl of ice cream if it is something that I will remember for a long time to come.
I'm very familiar with Ben and Jerry's ice cream and it is very good as well. When I first eight their ice cream I had the same sensation as when I ate the ice cream from Coldstone.
Thanks for the response

Oh my goodness, Clodstone is some of the best ice cream ever. I've been to another ice cream place a lot like it called Marblestone. They make the ice cream the same way. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.
