So how has everyone's summer been going so far? Things here in the good ol' RoC are great! The weather is beautiful, my immediate family, work, and friends are great. My finances are slowly falling into place, my photography business is also coming together; life is beautiful.
Ok, some questions:
1. What has been the best movie this summer you've seen?
2. What is the best thing you've done so far this summer?
3. What are you still hoping to do this summer?
4. What are your kids doing this summer?
MY ANSWERS:
1. Hmmm Indiana Jones at the Drive-In or PS I love You on DVD
2. Got season passes for Darien Lake and went this past Friday
3. Get married
4. They are at the sitters during the day; and I hope to start them on evening swimming lessons; which they don't know about

Things here aren't too bad. my husbands cousin got killed in an accident at work though. that was so sad though we weren't close with him. other than that things are ok. 1. i haven't seen any new movies yet this summer. 2. the best thing i've done is help with my relay for life team 3. i would like to take the kids camping. 4 my kids are all under 6, so basically just playing outside and having fun. congrats on getting married! july 21st is our 7th anniversary.

I am reluctant to call it summer yet.
It's still June ... the last day of June but still June. Summer, to me, is July and August. And once July hits, it seems like the summer just rushes by.
However ... it has been a great June. I have been puttering around the house and yard, just doing what I fell like doing or whatever I have the energy to do. Not thinking much beyond the moment I'm in.
1.) Haven't watched any summer movies yet this year. Hopefully I will get to that soon.
2.) The best thing I've done so far ... watched (and helped as I could) a friend do some house maintenance. It feels so good to have eavestroughing on the house and weatehrstripping on the garage door. And he finished off a flower bed with bricking ... so nice!!
3. Still hoping to do this summer is more finishing touches in the back yard.
4. Not applicable ... no kids.
