Any of them can end up in the top. If you refresh your page, you'll see that they rotate frequently. As long as you have some answers, you could very well end up in that rotation.

i'm not sure, but i think it might have to do with how many responses you get in a time frame. like say any discussion that gets more than 10 responses in an hour. or something like that. i've seen discussions on there that really didn't have that many responses so that is how i thought it might work. i don't know if anyone really knows how it works. kind of like how they figure out how much to pay us.
