Hmmm..was it barrera or marquez??
I don't know much about them listed to be the next opponent of Manny Pacquiao esp. hatton and valero. I think the best and looks dangerous would be certainly recommended to be the next to fight pacman.
I also wanted to have a 3rd bout between Pacman and marquez.I aint really that satisfied manny won that fight, I want to see marquez kissin his whole face on the canvass, bloody messed and trying to get himself at feet no more, serves him not being so sportsmanlike.

Umm Miss petiksmode hehe I guess...you've mistaken barrera to be marquez and marquez to be barrera...^^
Well anyways..I'm refering to this boxer who fought Manny before Diaz, and his name is Juan Manuel "Marquez". was he retired already? or the one you are talking about is "Marco Antonio Barrera" who PAC fought last year. ^^
This Marquez was the one who wants to follow Manny's division and have a rematch for the 3rd time if there's a possibility.
I understand.. you're just confuse on their names, the same as I got confused a long time ago. Just tell me if I'm wrong and my bad just in case.. ^^

I'm really bothered who will be the next opponent. They said that it was already decided on Humberto Soto to be Manny's next contender.
Freddy Roach even suggested that Manny should fight better and dangerous opponents not a free like underdog beaten in the first place, like Soto (well not really). Bob Arum hand-picked the fight I think and Manny just agreeing what's the promoter would decide in a good negotiation. But Roach, like an anti-promoter wants better leveling to those close highlevel fighters than Manny, there is Valero, Hatton...and now without Joking against Oscar De La Hoya to be M.P. final fight of this year.
I think Roach must negotiate nor maybe he's still negotiating this Pacman - Oscar DLH fight. I'm really looking forward to it and I also agreed on what Roach thinking.
But then again, maybe I'm late for some boxing updates, would the fight was already settled?

if manny and oscar will see each other in the boxing ring, that will be great but that might not be so soon...i dont think manny can affrod to go up another level in regards to his weight..i think like roach said manny will stay lightweight for now. but yeah the fight of these 2 boxer will worth the wait whenever that is...

Yes Manny and Oscar, Bob Arum said that it is possible before the end of the year but he's not really into it. Manny like to fight Oscar and so Oscar either, Roach really wants this fight to happen this year. Only that, Oscar would drop his weight to 147 pounds I think and Manny would go up to 146lbs to make it possible.
I just want more better exciting fight for Manny, whoever they decided must be a right choice.

There are many speculations on who Manny Pacquiao will fight next. There was an article I read last June 30 that Manny could step up to light-welterweight to fight British world champion Ricky Hatton. Whoever it will be, I am sure Manny will give his best to win again. Long Live MP!

I've read about who will be the next to fight Manny, and he's Edwin Valero that is known to be as a good knockout artist and could be more dangerous against Manny.
Next year would be the fight between PAC and Hatton.
I'm really excited about this...Roach said that Manny must improve his defense more...but this Valero is slow and he might getting any speed difficulty from Manny. This Valero has one powerful KO punch..Really dangerous it seems.

The next bout will be held on the 6th of December, Manny will step back again through U.S. to sign a contract fight by the end of this month.
Although not yet fully decided, here's the possible boxers to fight against MP next.
- Humberto Soto
- Edwin Valero
and now..
- Oscar Dela Hoya?
(only a video game console can possibly make this fight happen, but without fantasy thoughts, this fight is the most possible other than those two that I've mentioned above.)

luzcano and barrera are way out of their prime, edwin valero is from the superfeatherweight division and has a very impressive record with 24 victories, 0 lose, and 24 knockouts but he never fought tought opponents from his division, i think pacquiao is more comfortable in lightweight and junior welterweight with ricky hatton.

According to the news, the next opponent of Pacman in his Novemeber fight would be Edwin Valero, that is if the Venezuelan gets medical clearance from the Nevada State Athletic Commission. For me this will be an exciting match up due to both fighter's fighting style, they both possesses speed and power. But I think Manny will just have another walk in the park with this so called "Knockout Artist". Yeah, Valero won 24 of his pro fights via knockout and 19 of them came from first round, the records is surely intimidating, but in boxing, the records doesn't prove to much. The question here is, how many quality opponents did Valero faced, is his skills enough to face an elite fighter? Also, from what I have seen from Pacman's last fight, he is now a much complete fighter, so Valero should start his training camp today.
After Valero I want Pacman to go up on 140lbs. and face Ricky Hatton early next year. This will also be an explosive match up, not only by the two fighters but also two countries, Philippines and England.

i also see valero to be the next opponent of manny though i dont want to see manny go for 140 the following year..staying in this weight for even a year will help him a lot...becoz immediate transfer of division will only bring doubts of he really dominates this weight area..as roach says pacman is really comfortable in his current weight and will stay in time being

I like Pacman to unify the belts in the lightweight division by fighting Nate Campbell. Then face the who's who in that division. That would be a great achievement but then again, it won't be financially rewarding as against DLH.
