A few weeks ago, I ended work late (around 1130pm). I had not had dinner and felt both Tired and Hungry. When I finally reached home, I quickly showered.
After showering, I still felt very Tired. I decided to quickly blow dry my hair and Sleep. Actually, I only blew dry my hair for a few minutes. I slept that night with my hair half dry.
I am the type of person who rather Sleep than Eat if I am both Tired and Hungry. I guess I can endure hunger better than sleepiness.
How about you? If you are Tired and Hungry, would you rather Sleep or Eat first?

It will definitely be sleep for me.. Because i just loved sleeping.. lol =D I can go without food but never go without sleep.. hehe ^_^ BEcause i'm using up alot of energy everyday, so sleep is very important for me to replenish wat i've lost ^_^
I remember got once i wait for my mom to da bao the food for me till i fall asleep.. And when she's back, i force myself up to eat, but only till the 3rd or 4th mouthful, i doze off with the food still inside my mouth.. lol ^_^ Den i suddenly wake up and threw away the whole packet of food and went to sleep instead.. lol

Since eating makes me sleepy, I would eat a quick snack before hitting the sack. Although, having said that, there are people who say they never eat just before sleeping because it makes them put on weight. I guess if it is just a light snack then it should not make a difference but a big meal might be an issue for some people.

It would really depend on how hungry I am. If I am not too hungry, I would just go to sleep first and have a hearty breakfast tomorrow.
If I am so hungry I could get a gastric, I would rather eat something first. No point going to bed, then waking up in the middle of the night to munch on something then go back to sleep. That would pound on the weight faster than you can imagine.
Other wise, if I am so tired, a glass of milk at least before going to bed. Really hate to wake up in the middle of the night due to hunger. More often than not, after waking up and munching, I never go back to sleep for a good few hours after that! Makes my sleep cycle go hay wired. And also makes me cranky all day long the following morning due to lack of sleep!

I too would rather sleep than eat and indeed on many occasions have chosen sleep over food. If I am absolutely starving however then I find it hard to sleep on account of my tummy growling and talking to me.

I am same like I would rather sleep than to eat, if I am very tired I will not have patience to chew the food as well, I will just lie down for some time, If I am feeling very angry then I will get up in between and then have my food.

Hi,dear friend,
Really funny discussion..as for me I will do the same as you do ..
as I am also the type of person who can sacrifice anything if I am sleepy..you just reminds me of one thing that happened in my childhood.I remember that day I didn't have a nap during the afternoon(this is a habit which I formed when I am a little child)...Then when I was riding on the road .during the period of waiting for the lights to turn green .I was falling a sleep just on the road...

I usually eat first, as when i have eaten the sleep will come better. I don't really know whys that but i get to sleep better when i have eaten first. Also its much more comfortable to eat first before going to sleep and then you don't need to always eat at the morning if you have eaten in the night before sleeping . Well, that is how i do things and skipping breakfast does no good really so i guess its not recommended to do it that way

Definatly sleep, funny when I'm really, really tired takes over.I'd be too tired to make any thing to eat.
I'v e got home really late sometimes after not having anything to eat, so it's jut get ready and of to bed, the toredness just takes over.If I didn't I'd proabably just fall asleep on the spot.

I would want to eat a little bit and then go to sleep. But if I absolutely had to choose, I would rather sleep.

For me its different. If I am really that tired, I will not anymore eat nor take a bath or shower but directly go to my bed and sleep soundly. I really experienced that kind of situation and I did really choose to sleep.

I probably would've grabbed something to eat before hitting the shower-- just a quick bite (a banana, toaster pastry, muffin). Then, I would've headed for the shower; if I had the energy after showering, I'd prepare a meal; if not, I'd head for bed.

I definately would have something to eat before going to bed. I work a late afternoon shift and find that if I don't get something to eat, I won't be able to sleep. I usually try to eat something really small. My vice of choice is chocolate. So I try to keep those little mini candy bars on hand and just have one of those. It usually helps.

I would force myself to eat a little food first because the hunger would wake me up or I would wake up the next day feeling very weak.
If you know this might happen then you should always have something already prepared at home to eat.
I have this same problem so often and it is a problem.
You just need to prepare, if possible, for the event.

Hello There.
I always eat first even when I am very tired then after that, I will go to sleep. I guess it is a habit of mine that I need to do some things before going to sleep no matter how tired I am.
Thanks! Happy Mylotting!

Hmmm, I am not sure that I can endure hunger while sleeping. I'd rather sacrifice five or ten minutes of my sleep time to let my stomach be full with food. Perhaps I won't eat rise or something happy. An instant noodle or chocolate will do for me...

Well, I guess I would have to say that either way it depends on the mood I am in. I know that if I haven't eaten in a while and I am hungry I'll end up grabbing something quick to munch on. But alot of the time if I am really tired I can somehow ignore the hunger pangs. Then later when I wake up sometimes I am not really hungry anymore. It's kind of weird that way.
