Great Movie?

Rocky has his own statue. That says a lot since he wasn't a real person as D Wade put it. I loved this movie because of all that it meant to me. It sad that I could achieve, it was about "karma", it was about the underdog, and it was about love too. What do you feel made this movie so great?

Well, I have always thought that while Rocky was a good movie, it wasn't really as good as many people felt. Rocky did lose remember, and the movie was actually stolen by Stallone. It was good though, just not GREAT!

What do you mean stolen? You mean he actually beat someone up and stole the script from someone and built a huge career off of it? Is that really what he did? Do tell.

It's good, not great. But it is damn good to me because it was filmed in my neighborhood... the messed up thing about rocky is that they never showed the actual people from the neighborhood... you mean to tell me you filmed a movie in a predominately puerto-rican/black neighborhood, and failed at showing it's true cultural diversity?? It's all good though, it's still a good movie:)
