It said on the news today in England that our NHS is 60 years old this week1 I studied this at school. If I reember rightly Mr Bevin created the NHS. What do you think to the NHS in England? If overseas do you have a HNS system , if not how do you go about getting medical care? I think in the old days when the NHS was created it was very good as it meant the poor didn't have to pay the doctor etc to be treated etc. I think sometimes with all this private care we seem to be going backwards in some ways. This is a very good subject to read in depth if you like history and want to know more, I had a great time learning all about it, it is too much to put here and since it was so long ago I can't remember everything.

I do not have to read about it...I lived it and compared to what we have in the States it is GREAT!

My mom used to work in the baby area of one of the biggest hospitals in London, England. She loved it there and we revisited the place while we were on vacation. In Canada we kind of have the same system where healthcare is free although I know it differs in England somehow, just can't remember how.
