Do your children motivate you?

On a cold winters morning my covers
are up to my chin - what motivates me
to move in the morning? - My Kids!
It's been a long hard day and I am
emotionally drained and physically
muscle sore - usually I would sit
and do nothing, but my kids spur
me on.
I am feeling a little (hormonally)
teary and sad, but a smile creeps
onto my face because my children
make me laugh!
When my head is all blocked with
the biggest head-cold ever and all
I want to do is sleep, I can keep
going for my kids need me!
When there is not much in the
cupboards but I have to make a meal
I do the best that I can to whip
up a nourishing meal as my children
need to eat.
Sometimes when I am feeling overworked
and underpaid I realise that all the
rewards come in life in the form of
love in the face of my smiling
children.
I love my kids so much!
Being a mum is the best job in the world!
(maybe I am just feeling a bit overly
emotional today but I have been
thinkingof all the ways that my kids motivate
me to be the best me I can be - do you think
this way about your family? Isn't parenting
the best!)

I have an eight month old and he definitely motivates me to do the best I can. I could have the worst day ever and all I have to do is look at that precious smile and know that everything will be just fine. He is what keeps me going. I want to make him proud and that is what motivates me.

Having children really makes you aware of what
life is all about. Firstly your own happiness
and then sharing that with those around you.
If your avatar picture shows your son, he is
very cute

my children motivate everyday
they motivate me to go to work cause i know i have to beable to support them.
i also make sure i eat right( most of the time)becuase i want to live to be able to see them have children of their own. even the smallest things in my daily life are motivated by them.

This is true, they sure make sure that you make yourself the best you can be! You do need to eat well to work well, mentally and physically!

Its a tough job but a great job and, no matter how old they are, you never retire nor do you have any wish to do so. My sons have been and continue to be a greater source of strength and motivation to me than either of them will ever know.

I love that the relationship between mother and child keeps growing and changing and blossoming into the next stage of beauty.
Oh yes, I must be overly hormonal today!
