Symbiotically Corrupting People and Government?

OVER and over the culprit in the corrupt Philippines are the corrupt officials. That is what us Filipinos thought that our government is corrupting us. The issue is not just evolving there. There are numerous issues involving us too, our government, the USA and others. Our role as citizens are not just guarding our own possessions including our dear ones, our idealisms but I think these includes our responsibilities to our state, humanity and habitat.
There are around 90 Million of us in the Philippines. Our population is rising up on the skies yet our GDP and GNP is not soaring like our human growth. There are a lot of us and just a few are vigilant of the goings on. Out of that around 90M Pinoys, there will just be handful of us who care for our country, our people and our political-economy. I figured that no matter how much Death Squads be delpoyed to kill the culprits to perish but the issue is personal transformation from within. Simple efforts to be vigilant is not as difficult as doing your own laundry. In the laundry service area you have to sweat out until you are finished doing it. And yet when clothes are worn out again, and again and again you wash them over and over... Unlike other stuffs that you do, it will be over and done when the process is finished. The approach of becoming transformed is like cooking the best viand that you wish to eat. In preparation we have to exert all our efforts to do our best. We eat and savor the best and gets satisfied, burp and sweat out. Maybe eliminate the scraps from by letting them go in the toilet bowl.
From that 90M Filipinos how much of us throw our garbages segregating the greens, black and yellow wastes? I think not about 10%. How much from that 90M Filipino have learned that they are truly Filipino and that they owe their being Filipino from each of Filipinos and in that manner they would regard being patriotic and faithful.
How much of us have realized that we are diversed as humans, we have our sovereign obligations not just for ourselves but for everything. We forget to respect our blood as Pinoys often. The least that we know we never care for our Filipino ingenuity, the diverse conservative us, creative, respectful, but sad to say unlawfully practising by all means of profession. Our police force are known corrupting civilians, our military personnel are making doctorate degrees in coup de'tat within the world class economic and business destination that we consider. Our highest political leaders in oath are bribed with hefty amounts of money as reward for the deal. Our villages are not caring for their habitat, they throw their garbage like the way they just want it to be. It is sad that we put our blame often to our leaders. Our corrupt Political Leaders are our images of destruction, they are that way to us. We shared that much corruption because we allowed them there where they are installed to rule us. We are ruled like we've been the dumbest because we are not complaining the right way. We just shout along EDSA, Ayala Ave., Welcome Rotonda, Quirino Grand Stand etc. Does plenty of efforts shouting makes sense? Sometimes, yes often not at all but just waste of time and traffic obstruction. At times when we are in the middle of sensitive issues like Fuel and Food crisis we put the blame to the little President. We thought that she earns money in each of the issues involving global economy, we always feel we are cheated when there are deals to seal. Beacuse our colonizers taught us how to deal with pay-offs, commission, dishonoring honoraria, "padulas", "pakimkim" etc. In any angle of transaction there is always bribery included. We extort to get the best service and drops name to be able to standout.
Now, can you tell me if you too, corrupted your government? Yes? No? Yes, sometimes or often are not just corrupting our government but our humanity. The symbiotic relationship of whichever we do matters. The Confucian Theory perfectly tells us that "What you do not want done unto you, do not do unto others."
From now on...lets make a checklist of the basic responsibilities that we have to do and from the list I think the best that I suggest.
1. Less talk= Less Mistake
2. Segregate my waste into 3 color coded bins
3. Memorize, emphatize, apply the thoughts of our National Anthem but don't let yourself die for the good benefit of others sacrificing your philosophies and idealism.
4. To be vigilant, opinion oriented, responsible citizen for his people, environment and government.
5. Checkout what's up in the news not what's up in the kitchen.
6. Do good, feel good and be happy!
DON'T Corrupt others neither and never!
AND...
Never let others CORRUPT YOU!!!

If one has to really examine issues here, there are so many loopholes which one could see in matters where the government is concerned. I personally find it so disturbing and disappointing to observe and discover that our country is known as one of the top corrupt countries.
Just as many other ideals, this is easily said than done. But it isn't impossible, though.
I am one with you in believing in the golden rule or what others might call as "law of karma". So when I get bullied around, I just stick to this belief and say everything to God in my prayers. Just like these days beginning yesterday, I really feel like bursting because here in the workplace, politics is so alive. Two weeks ago, an officer was granted his request of reimbursement of his "back wages" amounting to two hundred thousand pesos or more than four thousand US dollars. And to think that it was approved in less than a week.
Our department head thought that it's best to do the same for all rank and file employees in our department, which included me. I had a pending receivable of back wages worth seventy eight thousand pesos. We requested and filed it in the Personnel department more than a couple of weeks ago. We made a follow-up on the request last week but still, nothing happened. Then yesterday, we received the news that it has been denied. I really couldn't explain why it had to be that way. In comparison, the officer I mentioned earlier almost did nothing in the benefit of the company. He is one of our company lawyers but we've lost all our legal cases which he handled. He also has many staffs which some officemates say is too many than required compared to work load.
I can't attribute it to anything except than to politics. I haven't done anything to put our company to shame, nor did I misrepresented it to the public. Someone suggested that I file a case with NLRC or National Labor Relations Commission. I'm already thinking of it.

Thanks for responding on my started discussion.
I do think it will be a healthy decision to sue them through NLRC. It is so unfair. My former colleagues who worked in the same company in Ortigas before have decided to file case against our employer through NLRC. We were like NLRC students because we were going there for follow ups every now and then. Good thing we've won and we had the Korean employer deported. We had our settlement from that employer.
The best reward was that we have done our part and our rights were proven.

I was actively helping as a volunteer for the municipal in Guiguinto Bulacan. Also helping in the barangay for resolving conflicts. It was a lot of fun too.
But we are always short of funds.
I hope they give more support to us senior citizens, specially medicals
