Do you Think your Cell Phone Ringing when it's Not?

I have a distinctive ring on my cell phone so I can tell it from other noises. But my grandchildren, especially my granddaughter, get my phone and will change the tune on it. Then I don't realize it is my phone ringing.

Hi momalisa, it happens to me also sometimes when I am watching a TV and I heard my phone ringing then I'll be running to check it only to find out, its on TV...LOL!

Sometimes when I have my phone on Silent (vibrate) and it's in my jacket pocket,sometimes I'll think it's doing it's little buzz thing,when it's not..

I do it all the time. Mostly when travelling, i feel like its ringing, or if some1 else's is ringing , even at home.

yes. but my phone does not ring most of the time. often i can hear is the message alert that someone has text me. the sound of that keeps ringing on my head but when i come near my cellphone there was no message. or sometimes i've been texting to someone for a couple of minutes already then i ask her something that i need to know then is took her an hour before she can text back... that keep hearing the tune on my head althoug there wasnt any

I used to have that problem when I would leave my phone on vibrate all the time cuz I was in school. But now that I am out of school I have the ringer all the way up so I always know if my phone is ringing or not.

I have my cell. phone on vibrate when I'm at work & sometimes I swear it vibrated but it didn't... There were times when I was watching t.v. & cell phone rings in the show I was watching & I thought it was mine so I check it...

I hear my cell make the little bing! noise it makes when I receive a text message ALL THE TIME...so I check...and nope. No texts. I thought maybe I was losing my mind... but apparently I'm not the only one hearing phantom noises!

Okay, now I know I am not crazy, I thought it was only me. I can not tell you how many times I have checked my phone because I thought I heard it.

It happened to me when i am on computer listening to music I was fully enjoying some noise is comming but for more time I did not listened to the ring after sometime by seeing light blinking and lifted

Yes, I hear the music or even when I think that a text came I hear the sms tone.. It's just because they enetered so deeply in our life and we here them ringing all the time.

Well yes it does happen to me since I set my phone to vibrate and I place it at my belt. When I ride a public transportation sometimes I feel my phone vibrating. but when I check it it does not. So every now and then I just touch it when I feel it really is vibrating that's the only time I get it and answer it.

Sometimes, it happened to me especially when I'm waiting someone to call or text me.. I think it is in our imagination that our cell phone is ringing.. Or maybe it is because that you listening to the radio, the sound you heard is not really coming from your cell phone but to the radio.. Because sometimes, it happened to me...

Yeah this happens to me once in a while if it's really quite haha. It's really weird because i actually think of the ringtone and then i wonder if it is really my phone.
