After being a competitive swimmer for the past four years, I'm really excited for the 2008 Olympics! I've been following the US Olympic team trials (which started yesterday), and already Micheal Phelps and Katie Hoff have made the team. And they broke the world records for the men's and women's 400m IM. Big surprise. Which swimmers are you excited to see in the 2008 Olympics? I'm hoping for another Micheal Phelps/Ryan Lochte competition and really really looking forward to seeing Dara Torres compete. Sorry, but for the most part I'm only familiar with US swimmers. With the exception of Ian Thorpe of Australia, who recently retired. Though I am always open to comments about exciting competitors of other countries.
