Reversed Cards

I have read some books which do not explain the reversed meanings of the cards. Some books say that the reversed meanings do not matter much as long as you know the general concept of the cards. Sometimes I interpret the cards just with their general meanings, disregarding the fact if they were reversed or not. Was it a wise thing to do or should I interpret reversed cards as reversed cards?

I have never read a tarot book so my interpretation of the cards aren't typical. In the same way I 'feel' the cards - mostly upside down cards are there to make me be drawn to that card - like it is important for me to take note. I read tarot intuitively though so each card has a different meaning for each person I read for.
It is important to tell the story of the cards - you need to make sure that you take them all in as a whole reading, it is important where they lie in comparison to eachother and if they are upside down or not before you note the individual card meaning.
So in answer to your question, it is wise to interpret the cards as you see fit!

to be honest, i stay away from them. i don't like to get involved with things like that. it's from the dark side.

i heard that from someone. any kind of fortune telling, or mediums. i had an aunt who was a medium and she said she had trouble with demons getting out of hand during her sessions.
