Hi It has been raining heavily here in bombay since yesterday night, this has resulted in many trains, buses being taken out of operations.Today it took me nearly 3 hours in a train to reach a destination which usually only takes 45 minutes.

I too travelled for more than three hours to reach office here in Mumbai today. Hope the situation improves by the end of the day.

I heard the central railway is very bad. No much news of the western railway though I live on the western side. Hope you reach safely back.

Amirev India sounds lovely and very attractive ordinarily when it is not coming down torrentially. Do you tend to get a months rainfall all in one go?

hi laura u r right-india is a lovely place to be especially when its not raining.these torrential downpours are more prevalent in the coastal belt of konkan, which also includes Goa,besides Bombay.the worst thing is that it rains continously for 14-16 hours at a stretch, and the drainage system just cant cope up.
