I can't even remember the last time I bought a fast food meal, probably the last time I met a friend of mine in the UK who insists on meeting in McDonalds. If I bought one tomorrow, I'd choose to either drink 7-up or Orange juice with it though.
As an aside, what do you mean by lemonade? This is obviously another of those English English / American English things I keep coming across! In the UK, we'd think of something like 7-up as being lemonade, and we'd call that a soft drink. So if lemonade isn't a soft drink where you are, what is it?

I usually have ice water with me at all times so I never get a drink with my meal.

well friend i think that without a soft drink pizza or any other fast food is incomplete.If both the things are there only then it is a complete combination.Yes i always take the two together.

I don't usually eat fast food, but I rarely get a soft drink (and it would be diet if I did) because the artificial sweeteners give me worse headaches when I drink them with all that fatty, sugary food that is usually served in fast food places. I sometimes will get a bottle of water, though. Mostly I take my food home and drink water with it, if I drink anything at all. I often don't drink anything while I'm eating, but will have some water afterward.

I had a friend who would do that, he'd eat his dinner and then drink his water or milk or whatever.

I dont do pop often. Usually I will just get a water. I have never been big on those sugary drinks. Sometimes I like to have rootbeer but only with ice cream i love rootbeer floats.

I always get a soda with my fast food order unless I'm ordering something from McDonald's. If it's McDonald's, then I have to order my sweet tea because I love it so. Sometimes I will even go through the drive-thru to order the sweet tea alone. Forget the food!

Did you check your cavities? :) Do you tell them to fill it up at the drive thru? I use to live in Pompano Beach, FL. I miss the ocean but I'm loving the mountains.

Just kidding! Lately, I have been mixing in some water here and there. It's all part of my journey into weight loss. Of course, my soda intake consists of nothing but Diet Pepsi which has no calories, no fat, no anything for that matter except for a little bit of sodium. I used to drink sweet tea using it as an excuse because sweet tea is made with water so therefore has more water content than my normal Diet Pepsi. I have since quit lying to myself and started drinking water to improve my health.

I usually get unsweetened Iced Tea. Sometimes I'll mix it up and get a diet soda, but usually the tea, I'm not a soda person.

I often get the softdrinks. So that I can burp after a full meal. Or else, I will feel gaseous in the stomach... and you know what comes next, the air would pop out of your bottoms. ahhahaha. embarrassing.

I never get a soda when I order fast food. I just get a glass of water. I don't really like soda, and I don't feel like spending the extra money on something the restaurant probably watered down, anyway.

I do not get much fast food but when I do I usually get water. I tend to drink more water than anything else. I have gotten into the habit of having only water in the morning. If I drink anything else it will be ice tea now that it is hot and hot tea in the winter.

No I don't usually get any drink at all. I find it a waste of time to pay for some cheap crappy drink. Pop is bad for you because it has so much sugar. The carbonation really hurts my stomach also. I don't buy water unless I'm out for the day because its cheap and easy at home.
I also work at starbucks so I get free drinks and filtered water at work.
Sometimes... rarely I'll get a frutopia.

If I'm taking the food home to eat I definitely avoid getting the soda. After you get in the habit of drinking a nice cool glass of water soda doesn't seem as good. If I'm eating AT the fast food place I usually get a soda since they tend to have crappy tasting water. I usually go with water at any sit down restaurant and not only is it better, but it usually saves 1 to 2 dollars a meal. I tend to eat out a lot and even if water wasn't better for you the extra money saved alone would be worth it.
