With the proliferation of laptops, tablet pcs, handheld devices, we can now access almost any kind of information we desire any time and anywhere. This should translate to reduced paper usage worldwide. However, I believe that the increase of electronic devices have led to MORE usage of paper. I, for one, still tend to prefer to read lengthy documents such as books and magazines on traditional print media. I guess I prefer to feel the weight of a book in my hands, allowing me to physically turn the pages. The physical contact with the book adds another dimension to the experience. The physical media are easier on my eyes as well. I think I'm not alone here. Do you prefer to read from the electronic screens or ironically contribute to the propping up of the paper industry?
