Hairstyles. Do you cut/dye your own hair?

I high light my own hair too, can't trim my own ends so I just go to a supercuts or whatever and get them to trim my ends. That's it for me everything else I do myself.

I have long hair and always cut it myself. The last time someone took scissors to my hair, was my mom and I was in the 6th grade. I am now 45 yrs. old, so its been a long time.

I highlight my own hair. I used to cut it..... one time I got it too short though and I haven't done that since. I cut my little boy's hair and my husband's too though. I try to pinch every penny I can!!!!!!

The only thing I do is color my own hair. My neighbor works in a salon and we have her come over and cut out hair. We always offer to pay her but she says No every time. She does a very good job every time especially on my kids hair. I actually have to have her come down and trim it up for me cause everyones hair is starting to grow out.

i dye my own hair, well not me but my partner does it for me he makes a good job of doing it too but i get my hair cut at a haidresser's.

When I used to dye my hair I would do it myself with some $7 hair dye. Worked just fine. Never would pay someone else to do it just because I am too cheap and broke. As for cutting my own hair...maybe if I wanted to play a part in a movie where I was just attacked by a rabid beast. I can't cut hair to save my life. Once I took a razor to my sons head (the electric kind that says it makes it easy to trim your hair!) and my poor boy looked like a fool. I have tried to just cut my bangs- another disaster!!! Although I have yet to find my favorite hairdresser I will keep trying because I would rather have a lousy haircut from someone else than to butcher my hair by doing it myself!

I color my own hair and put the scissors to it. It is long so I trim it now and then. Once in awhile I will go to the salon like you and have it cut short. Then I start all over again.

I'm picky about my hair, I will cut my own bangs and have used the touch of sun to had a little highlight to my hair. I use to perm my own hair too. But as for actually getting it cut I go to a salon most of the time. Every once in a while when I can't get into a salon I'll let my dad or mom cut my hair. But like layers in my hair and they can't do that.

I dye my own hair and cut my bangs but thats it. I have always said my husband needs to learn to cut my hair because I cut everyone elses in the house and I never get a hair cut! Truth is though I would panic if he actually wanted to cut it!
