I would probably read a lot, but when the weather outside got cooler during the evening or maybe in the morning time I would walk a mile or so. I like to take walks, but I don't do well in extreme heat. It is 4:30am right now and very cool outside. But in three hours it will be extremely hot. I wish it was safer to walk at this time of the 'night.'

Well I would go and do one of my greatest passions - reading! I have an extensive library of books at home and have neglected it somewhat in recent years with the computer mostly but also with TV - so I would happily rediscover my look of reading - literally I could spend 24 hours a day reading my favourite books :)

Wow, that's a good question. hmmmm
I guess I could go back to my no-computer days. Let's see, what did I do way back then.
1. crosstich
2. read books and magazines
3. do housework (I've been lax in that the past few years
4. take my dogs for a walk, one at a time (they have a big backyard so please don't think they are being harmed by not being walked)
5. bake goodies
6. go out of the house more, browse WalMart etc.
Gee, there's alot of things I don't do much anymore LOL
Have a great day!
Char :-)

I suppose I would read alot more than I do now. Would take more walks, get together with friends, spend more time outside. I would also like to ride my bike, just a easy ride, not into steep hills or mountain biking. A very interesting question as it gets you to think how much time we spend with the television and the computer.

Oh yeah, My favourite pass time is books. Even if I am tired working the whole day, I have to read atleast a few pages before I go to sleep. I prefer my books (though I have read them already, I dont mind re reading them again). I have a huge collection of books, fiction, non-fiction etc in my personal library and I lend myself a book when there is no tv or computer. Mainly this situation will arise only when there is no power. But even there is power, I prefer to be with my books, rather than watching TV or working in the computer.

WoW! If that was the case we might all have to get some excerise, and we would not have the obesity problem that we have now. It might be great!

Yes Bala,
I also belong to our group. If there was no computer I would have turned to ever present books. Even now I read whenever I get time. Without books life is nothing I feel, What do you say Bala?
With Books you can spend your time wisely, no gossip, no problems etc right.. you can increase your knowledge too..

While I can easily live without TV (as I mentioned in an earlier response to you, I don't een hae one hooked up!!) I would go crazy without my computer. If I had neither, I would do a lot of reading. I would sped a lot of time at the book store.

I don't have a television so that's no problem for me.
Life without a computer would be different but not impossible.
I use my computer for work so I would need to do something else. For research I could visit the public library. For leisure activities I could spend more time reading fiction and go out more. I would listen more to the radio to keep me informed of daily news and events around the world.

I stopped watching TV some years ago because I had little interest in watching it any more. I don't have time to watch now and I live quite happily without it.

I would read a book, play sports -volleyball, tennis, football, go to the park, to the mall, play table games with friends.
What's more, I was going to take care of myself more, clean and tidy the house more, spend time with family members more, be outside of the house more...
Gosh...I wish there was no TV and computer!!!! lol
