Did you fall in love with an unseen person?

I hear it is possible for lots of people to find love from others who they have never seen either by emails and letters or phone - is this what you mean? x

i get to have an intrest on someone thati havent seen yet...like from chatting or commnity sites...but i really cant tell if i have fallen inlove to those person...falling inlove happens if i get to meet him personally and get to know that person more...

No, I do not believe it is possible to fall in love with someone you haven’t met. You can find that you have similar interests and feel that you are kindred spirits but you could say that same of someone you correspond with of the same gender as a penpal on a friendly basis. There is something inherently strange for me to hear that someone confesses true love to someone they’ve never physically met (like those people who write to prisoners and fall in love with them without even having met them – yeah rapists and paedophiles are real lovable people aint they?)! With the advent of the internet and so many people using email and some very shy people looking for love I can imagine a lot more people finding “true love” this way but personally I wouldn’t trust someone I hadn’t met in person. How do you know they are who they say they are? They might be married, they might be years older or younger than they said they are… There’s too much risk involved and what with more and more people becoming victims of internet fraud and scams I would be concerned if anyone I knew said they were “involved” with someone that they’d never actually met…

Yes it is possible even I felt in luv with my husband before meeting him.Actually we came in touch to each other over the phone.I agree it seems to be unrealistic now a days but loving to a person by knowing and understanding him is more important than by getting attracted just by looks or physicl attraction.

there is no way u can know u love the person if u havent met them yet.this other person may be lust or caring but i doubt love.what if on the phone or internet she is very sweet and nice but in person shes ugly(not that looks matter much to me)rude,disrespectful ect...they can be a whole different person when u finally meet them.
