hi dear friends off late lot of news is coming on the dangers of cell phones and how badly excessive use of those can effect our health..there’s a huge public health crisis looming from one particular threat: EMR from cellular phones—both the radiation from the handsets and from the tower-based antennas carrying the signals—which studies have linked to development of brain tumors, genetic damage, and other exposure-related conditions. Yet the government and a well-funded cell phone industry media machine continue to mislead the unwary public about the dangers of a product used by billions of people...it also affects small children very badly ...so r u always speking into your phone? do these drastic health conditions ever concern you? do u really fear your children using the cell phone and in turn having some medical problem? Can u imagine your life having no cell phone? how dependent are u on your cell phone? do u always carry it?

Hi Neetu
what a scary phone, well all wireless devices are dangerous, and all electronic devise are not safe for health too, So how much u can avoid.
Smoking is dangeous but when u go out and stuck in trtaffice then u r inhaling more dangerous stuff.
I am not trying to protect the MALEFFECTS of sell phone but want to make u realise that in illusion of technolgy, indistrilaizqation and growth we have made our lives so dependant on these things that we cant imagine life with out it. Honestly tell can u live with out washing machine???
I do carru my cell phone all the time but only use it to receive and make call or for SMS, i dont use it for games, music or other stuff, its need of business now and to stay in touch with customers. i try to maintain precaution advised and try that my kids dont use it often.
i am afraid that despite of knowing all, we cant live without them
Take care

I only believe if the mobile phone has been used too much then it would bring implication to our health. I got a mobile phone and everytime if I use it I will make sure not to use it for more than 5 minutes if not necessary. While on the call my ear would get hot because of the radiation coming from the mobile phone. I have read some health articles that it is highly recommended that to avoid long use of the mobile phone. Yes I bring mobile phone anywhere I go however I only make the calls if I really think it is necessary. I would not die if I don't carry it however I just feel insecure whenever I did not bring mobile phone.

I would have no problem if my cell phone stopped working. I've never been one who loves to talk on the phone, anyway, I'd rather see someone in person. I do one thing at a time and hate to be on the phone while I'm doing something.
I only have one for emergencies and that's the only time I use it except for long distance calls since I have so many minutes built up on it--cos I never use it!

hi,
i was really shocked by that information. well thanks for that... however, i am really dependent on my cell phone.. i really can't live without it.. i always carry it around for communication purposes.. although there are disadvantages on using cell phones, i'm sure that a lot of people would still want to have a cell phone.

Yes, I can live without one and believe everyone else can too. I'm tired of hearing people argue, swear, threaten and just plain let the world know their personal business in the public bathrooms, checkout line in stores etc. The world got along before they came into use. What do people find to talk about so much. Did we not converse before we had them? If they're a health hazzard people should heed their warnings like anything else. I've seen people almost get hit in traffic by crossing the street and not paying attention to anything accept the conversation they were having at the time.

I am dependent on cellphone on a case to case basis only like when I am out and no landline is by me and also when my husband is out and could not be contacted via landline. But ordinarily while in the office or at home, I would rather use the landline to contact my clients and loved one. I don't make use of the cellphone that often as I am not so fast in texting and I feel I am wasting so much time in doing, so I would rather call via landline. Cellphone to me is also a useful gadget to keep in touch with friends local and abroad but I can do away with cellphone for as long as there are landlines and internet connections.

I definitely do without my mobile phone! I only bought one because my daughter was going on a very long road trip by herself, and I wanted her to send me text messages several times a day so I'd know where she was and that she was safe in an hotel each night. After her trip, I hardly use my phone at all, and it sits on my desk without being charged for weeks and weeks!

I think I can't live without my cellphone...
I cannot deny the fact that mobile phone has become an important device in my life. I use it to communicate, to entertain myself and to earn extra income...
Yes, I always carry it anywhere I go. If I forgot to bring it with me, I think I'm crippled...
