Do you know sign language ?

I have this elderly neighbour who drops by sometimes at home. He cannot speak or hear so I find it quite difficult to communicat with him. I have however seen him communicate with some of his family members in sign language and since then have been very curious to learn. Any suggestions on how I could go about this ?
