There are lots of chocolates in the market, and we enjoy eating chocolates. Dr. Vicky Belo, one of the famous doctors here in the Philippines admit that eating chocolate cannot be harmful to our health. As a matter of fact, it is good to our body specially the dark chocolate . But it is good to eat on moderation. It is advisable to eat once a week or twice a month, not everyday. "Anything that is much is not good".

The chocolate that is good for you is dark chocolate. It is good to have a little, not too much. As with all things, moderation is key. As for studies that say it is not healthy, well, there is a lot of conflicting information. As long as you eat a balanced diet and not too much of one thing, you will be fine.

Advice on what is good for you and what is not change so fast it is impossible to keep up. I think it is ok to have chocolate in moderation. Preferably dark chocolate with a high cocoa content - above 70%. With as little sugar as possible. I think it better to have something one loves and enjoying it, than depriving oneself of everything, or feeling guilty for giving in sometimes. That kind of stress is just as bad i think as a little sugar. Unless there is a medical condition to take into consideration.

Chocolate is good for you. The mixture of milk and sugar that goes into the sweet chocolate candies isn't. You can eat a small amount of dark chocolate and get benefits from it. The reason the advice changed was people weren't reading the WHOLE article on chocolate and just going ahead eating the kind of chocolate they'd been eating and that wasn't good, so it made the report look like a lie.
