Do you think the world will come to an end this year?

Honestly speaking, our probability of survival is low. Really, when it comes to space we got high chance of being struck my comets and asteroids. Or a simple blackhole could just form. We do have gravity on earth you know, if it goes unstable we are screwed. So just do what you can and live your best.

It's just a slightly bigger version of ones that already exist & have been in use for years now. If they haven't sucked us into a black hole by now why should we expect this one too? That prediction is fabricated.

I don't think so. Some people already thought the end of the world was in 1999, but nothing went wrong at that year. I don't like people always think that the end of the world is coming. It's so negative. If it will happen one day, nothing can stop it. Why not just enjoy ourselves at present? I love China

hmm i'm sure of one thing that the world is going to end very soon but not this year...i mean there are many reason which could be responsible for the world to end like global warming but the conditions are not that worse....we have got even enough resources that will help us live another 50 years...but i don't think its going to end this year..

No I don't think so, but who knows there are many signs that the world is coming to an end, but no one knows the hour or the day.

The ancient mayans (who have one of the most accurate calenders in history) predict 2012. Look up the video on you tube "2012 The End Of The World". I don't know if it does, it does. If it doesn't great, let's fight global warming and prevent it.

Nah, I'm not worried about the world ending this year. The Mayan calendar doesn't end until December 25, 2012. We have some time yet, if one were to believe the Mayans based on the fact that so far they've been right about everything else...or they weren't done making the calendar before they became extinct, and their calendar would then be irrelevant. Either way, we'll live to see worse days than these.

I really don't think that the world is coming to an end, there have been people saying this forever from what I have heard. Now, with the things going on in the world it may seem like the world is about to spontaneously combust, but I don't think it will happen. At least I hope not. LOL

Nope! the end is not yet! I am not trying to prophesy but I believe we are nearing the end but not this year yet. Nobody knows when would be the end of the world and all others could do is to make a wild guess but let us be careful and wise. Let's read the word of God and be properly guided. When asked about the end of the age in Matthew 24:3 Jesus said,The first would be massive religious deception, including religious teachers who would deceive many through a counterfeit Christianity. He also said there would be many wars and rumors of wars and other conflicts between nations and of famines, epidemics and earthquakes. From the looks of it, we are currently feeling all around all these signs and these are but enough for a wise person to think things over. Shall we remain in our old sinful self? God is very, very merciful, He has given us and still is giving us enough time to repent and mend our ways if we do not want to be destroyed together with this world. Therefore, this is the day, the day of salvation, this is the time to accept Jesus in our lives be born again and escape the doom that lies ahead of us. The end is not yet but it will be coming one day soon!

I haven't heard of the black hole bit, but I've definately heard about Nostradamus's propehcies and the Mayan prophecies that the world will end December 12 (i think) 2012. I don't know if I should believe this, and I doubt I should, but it's an interesting thing to think about. One thing I must mention though, is that while you're still living and breathing, don't be too preoccupied fretting the future to live your life now. Just enjoy every day!

I don't think so ! Anyway ,I just want to have a good even today . Even if ,to tomorrow is the end of the world . This is what I think !

I personally think that we are living in the end of times. AS you read the bible and especially the book of revelation you can see that the events are lining up. But, as far as black holes swallowing the earth or what not I dont believe in that at all.

I have read about the particle accelerator in Switzerland..well it is a bit scary. All this technology and messing with forces that we don't know it could be dangerous. It is like playing God so we try to understand God (the universe)... About the Nostradamus prophesies there are so many interpretations out there, that you dont know what to believe any more.

Worrying is the last thing you should be concerned about. Thinking about the Doomsday scenarios that is in your mind do cause that worrying and it should not be the first thing that should come in our minds. But, the best thing we can possibly do is to prepare for it in case its true then that's it. Enjoy every bit of your day that should be the right attitude that we should be doing right now. Worrying about it would just mean you're wasting your time to doing it. So why waste the time enjoy every moment of this day and if that fear of your come at least you have a great day in your last day here on earth So stop thinking about it and you'll be fine. I know God wants us not to worry about it as it will definitely come.

First and foremost to respond to you tag...I think it is a possibilitie that we could witness the worlds demise before the end of the year but on the other hand I seriously doubt it..God will allow us time to obtain and understand more information as to how to prepare ourselves for that event.... however that information is streaming in at a consistent flow for those who are open to it and willing to take responsibility in that they prepare not only for themselves but to help their family and friends certainly that includes pets...

If the Particle Accelerator does no harm, we can always rely upon ourselves to solve the problem. I think that it is only a matter of time before the human race blows itself to bits of its own accord. The world seems to be filling up with war, more often than not - other peoples quarrels - politicians! Perhaps governments and scientists should stop trying to play god.

You are asking if the world will come to an end because of the experiment involving CERN's giant particle accelerator. Are you serious? Of course the world WON'T come to an end! Hahaha. I believe that the world will be end, but when? nobody know. I just consent that the world will be end if I die at least for me world is end when I day. If you believe life after life then just count your age know, and you can predict maximum year you will left the world.

No and honestly i belive the world is going to end whenever god is ready for it...
