CANADA DAY TO ALL THE CANADIANS!! whether you still live there or like me are living in another country but still a Canadian citizen..HAPPY CANADA DAY TO YOU!!! Stand tall and proud to be a citizen of one of the greatest countries ever YAY 
so what are your plans? do you go to the fireworks? do you shoot them off in your yard instead? Family bbq or get together maybe?? how do you celebrate the holiday?

Hi Ravenlady, A happy Canada Day to you as well. I am a very proud Canadian, who wishes that people in the rest of the world had the benefits that we enjoy, and yet so many times take for granted. I would however love to see a change of government here, as I feel the present government isn't helping anyone. Blessings.

So is Canada Day equivalent to the 4th of July here in the States? Us silly Americans hardly ever know anything about other cultures/ countries. Forgive my ignorance.

Thank you!!! We had fireworks here in Canada, and I spent the day at The Second Cup, my favourite CANADIAN coffee shop. Then I went home and drank a nice big glass of real maple syrup, and ate some maple candy. I was in the USA lat year on July 1st, so this year was even BETTER since I was back in CANADA!!
