Viv Richards, the great Westindies batsmen who has played with some of the most devastating bowlers of all time, says BRETT LEE is the equal of the Westindies quicks of 1980'2 and early 90's that included bowlers like Joel Garner, Micheal Holding, Curtly Ambrose, Malcolm Marshall and Courtney Walsh.
On Sunday against Westindies Lee picked up his 300th ODI wicket and he is the fastest bowler ever to take 300 wickets. He surpassed previous record holder WAQAR YOUNIS by 15 matches..

Brett Lee is definitely one of the all time great fast bowlers in world cricket.He has really matured out into a senior statesman in the past two to three years,from being an out and out tearaway to a thinking fast bowler.
I think apart from all this , he is captaincy material.I would rate him to be a potentially superior future captain than people rate Michael Clark.

Well talk about greatness he played alongside the great Mcgrath .. . And now He's the spear of aussie bowlin attack ...his key to success is his fitness n He's a quick learner... He's a match winner He's all a bowler could be so why cant we compare him with west indian greats?

Yes lee is definitely one of the greatest bowler ever, along with being a great bowler he is also a perfect gentle man off the field. He is certainly the kind of person which the cricketing world can project as role model.
