Do you think there should be more entertainment in school?

There could be a better way to impart knowledge so that children enjoy what they are learning as there will be no time to earmark time for separate entertainment.

Ya,there should be more ways of entertaining studies through entertainment.In a manner that it should be a fun for students and satisfaction for Parents. More interaction,more video's and audio's in to the course.Games and course should be linked,provide video dvd's to students. And in all keep a check on their growth track.

I'm curious ... what sort of entertainment do you have in mind and when would it take place. Would it be instead of lessons or an extra-curricular thing? Who would provide the entertainment - would it be the school staff or would people be hired specifically to present it? Would it be optional and how would it be funded? I have seen a lot of teachers put huge amounts of preparation into making their lessons fun and entertaining and several local schools invite drama groups, animal handlers, musicians etc
