If you have a pain, you just used a medicine or you can resist? I don't resist for a slight pain in the head too.

I try not to take medicine for pain, unless the pain is so bad than I have to take some kind of pain pill.

If the pain is tolerable I do not use any medicine as all these analgesics can cause gastric and GI tract irritation and may induce bleeding from them.

Unless compelled, I never use any medicine because all the pain killers have so many side effects that it is unwise to invite them for a minor ailment like a slight pain in the head.

i would just go ahead and resist for sometime and after it gets beyond my control and unbearable,i would just rackle it up with some medicine
