Men Make Better Friends

good day...Men make better friends than women for many reasons. One Men tend to be protective of their friend even when they're on the wrong side. They do not want to see their friends suffer and let them correct it when it comes it. They don't want to see their friend miserable. As for woman (correct me if I'm wrong) they tend to expose the mistakes, they can't stand mistakes such as cheating and tell it to the unknowing wife rather than warn the man and let him correct it. I don't know why, maybe because they are woman and they also feel cheated when their woman friends are being cheated at. They tend to uphold say their honesty and credibility rather than stick their necks out for their male friends who committed mistake. Maybe I'm wrong but it did happened to me and I lost the woman I love because of that.

I dont know if its an issue of best friends or better liers. The man had a bunch of poor liers for friends, the woman had friends who knew nothing about lying. Bottom line, Men are liers and they know!

Dear friend, As you quoted it is true that men make better friends and I do also hope that all women are not same may be majority are like that. Anyhow in my own personal experience I make friends easily with men with women it takes time may be remain even not as friends. Those men friends are much understanding than the female friends I have, May be I go much friendly with men than women. The best female friend of me is my mother.

well all I can say is I dont have ten best friends only about 3 female friends and I have 3 male best friends. AS for loyalty and trust and honesty all come into play in this little tale. What is the friends name who you stayed with? I know this is a generalisation, but I have stayed out one night when in a relationship but I have always had a friends name to give that person and. Men Love to gossip more than you know take it from a woman that knows I worked tending bar and they love to chatter as long as it doesnt involve them they talk more than Women. I have to be honest I would be lost without my best friends and I know that if I was in a relationship now the guy would be loved by my friends and he would know who to call if I was out over night! Mind you if I had a hot guy I would be home early in the bed next to him!! lololol

I am not sure. I know a woman would be more concerned about her own family, so if lying would protect them she may lie. If lying threatened her own family she likely would not. I don't know if lying for a friend makes you a good friend.

hi dear i dont think so women are very honest and that is why her friends did not lie and even if her husband asks her then maybe she will tell him the truth instead...but the husband has no way to prove his innocence bcoz he is actually stuck bcoz of his friends lies..

Nice laugh. While I feel that this is the general case that men do make better friends SOME women are also there. But I feel women are less outgoing in their lending a helping hand when there is a sudden demand than men on acoount of their responsibilities. In our country at least, by and large the woman has a greater share of household responsibility regarding children and domestic chores.She cannot be as thoroughly helpful as a man in going out at the beck and call of a friend. In the joke that you shared however, I attribute another reason to this. There may be a fear of being caught on the woman's side and because woman is naturally very smart in defending herself she does not want to take the risk by telling a lie. There may be one or two women who would NOT lie on any account.

for me yes, because friendship in men is not typically a emotional or affectionate one than women. men always knows what they will do in terms of this kind of situation inorder to hide a possible trouble and if there is a way to lie in anything else its better to lie... hehehe' unlike in women that there are just honest... hehehe' they are more on emotions...

It is not always true. i have seen myself how so called great friendship of men can be just purposeful. they will just act so sweet to take advantage. when they are done, they will through you.when they need money, they will call you sweet names. Later they just forget to call you.

Wow this one is hard to answer, im sitting here thinking of whats the best answer but i do not know.lol i mean i know the guys around here have the saying bro's before ho~s.ho~s meanin girls. it just rhymes i guess .lol hha im still tryn to asnwer and i have nothing. OKay i have lied one time to friend husband for her i knew she was cheating he asked me. i said no because i was her friend not really his. since then i have grown up and i relize how much i despise cheating. Now i tell my firends if your ganna do it. do it when im not around dont tell me about it. i dont wanna be in that situation... i think thats the diffrence. for guys to get girls is cool. us girls are not like that. haha if that was even understandable. i couldnt come up with a great answer sorry:(

Well, as to my observations, both gender easily associates with other people and make friends with them depending on the qualities they have. There are those people who could have friends who are willing to sacrifice for them.. There are also those who willing to be a friend just for fun times but they are not there to back you up when needed. However, there will still be those who are concern beyond what we expect like they don't cover up our wrong doings because they want the best for us.. To sum this up, I would it depends on the qualities of friends that men and women have.

No I don't agree at all. It must be just a case of a man and a woman whose friends are referred. But there might be another man and woman in whose case the result may be different. It is just that the man's friends and woman's friends in this case are of different nature. OK coming to the point, there are many cases where man's friends cheat on them. But there are least heard cases where women cheat on their friends. It is just the case of person not the case of gender. There are good friends in women and also in men.

I agree, why? Men are just simple creatures. They don’t gossip, they don’t care about gossip. When there is trouble with friends, they want to help and don’t ask why? They don’t have the gut to tell the truth to destroy another family. They want the person to find out on their own instead of be the one to spill the secrets. I wish I had more men / guy friends so they can help me understand my husband better. But again, not all men are equally sensitive. My husband on the other hand, would not even bother calling my friends; instead he will not trust me and end of story. I have not done anything to promote his distrust; he just thinks that all women cheat because his ex girlfriend cheated on him. I am probably on my way to the divorce court, because I had enough of his jealousy

I guess you can always depend on your male friends in case there is problem of this kind, I have a friend that always finds himself at the side of another woman. And his wife never caught her, never thought she was cheated. His male friends, never gave chances to her wife, to know that he was cheating. Until one day, a girl officemate of husband, which is a friend of the wife, caught him with the other woman, unknown to him. So the girl had to tell the wife about her husband, and made some surveillance and investigations. And that ended his womanizing...

hi dear yes it is true authenticated by many and an established fact. at the same time i am not here to create any controversy of any kind among my friends but like the physical difference between the male and the female there exits a psychological difference. females appear to be thinking about dress hair styles etc i mean things which are within the shorter range. and males seem to have a broader horizon.

I can only think of 2 reasons why. No. 1 - men think of the worst scenario. Maybe that friend has been spending the night with another girl - so better save his as*. You never know when you need such support, when your wife ask around next time. No. 2 - men are better at scripting stories. Women are poor liars. This is just my opinion - so don't blast me!

It is a fact that Men make more friends. In general women maintain some barriers to talk with people. Men have no barriers and feel free to do anything. This is the easy way to communicate with people and make more friends than Women. Friendship between two men is like not involving any big emotions like sad and crying etc. They just make the things easier and happy. So their Friendship lives longer than the friendship between women. Hence I conclude that Men have more friends than Women have.
