I do but I have learned a lot in all my years about getting it. Credit is absolutely so important these days and is getting harder to get and maintain. I have read a lot of books and watched a lot of videos about getting and maintaining good credit and getting those credit cards paid off ASAP. Need any help? I would be glad to share some ideas.
Lets talk!

Right now I have no credit, which at times can be worse than bad credit, and one day I am hoping to be able to establish some credit,so that way I can get good credit and be able to get loans and stuff.

I think it all depends on the person. Yes, having a credit rating is very important these days but I think between having no credit rating but lots of cash in the bank, I would rather choose the latter. Some people simply cannot be trusted with credit cards and when the moment they can sign off on things without a thought to how they're going to pay their bills, they get into allot of problems. So, for some people, having cash and paying everything in cash is the best way to go.
However, I think if you can discipline yourself with the credit card, you can actually use it quite effectively. I mean there are times when you won't have enough cash in your pocket or in the bank account or when you're waiting for payment that's coming to you in a matter of days but you need to pay bills now. During such situations, credit cards are exceedingly useful.
Then there are times when credit card companies and retailers offer goods at discount prices below normal prices provided you use the credit card. This can be used to save money - though some people would need to work extra hard at not rushing out to spend the money just because they think they're getting the discount and so end up spending more than they would have otherwise.

I agree it all does depend on the person, and sometimes it is better to have a lot of cash and no credit, that and paying for things in cash is sometimes a lot easier and more efficient, and some people are not responsible enough to have a credit card, because they max it out, and then can not pay the bill, and yeah if you can use it appropriately the credit card can be one of your best friends, even though the interest will kill you,if you are not careful, and I feel I could be responsible if I got a credit card, but I do not know if I could deal with the headache of it,so I do not know if it would be worth it,and yeah it is a different boat so to speak if they offer a discount, but you are right you have to use self control, and not go out and get yourself into a hole, especially for people who are big spenders, have a great day, good luck in your life, and Happy Posting.

So far it's good. The credit cards are a little out of control but the payoff plan starts this month...
