to travel the world

I went around the world when I was 20 years old. My route was London-Los Angeles-Hawaii-Fiji-Sydney-Adelaide-Cairns-Darwin-Singapore-London. When I was in Asia I took a side trip over to Indonesia and Malaysia. My journey lasted for just over one year. I had a working holiday visa for Australia so I did some jobs there to get more funds for traveling. I read books before I left my home country and I took a backpack. I stayed at youth hostels and in guest houses. It is possible to go around the world these days but airfares in particular are more expensive. I hope that you go around the world one day.

i think its hard starting because you would need to pay lots of money for the trip. you would also need lots of time to travel the world and see places you could go to.

I haven't yet. Still raising a family. I think it would be hard to begin. So many places to see, things to do. I wouldn't know where to start. Right now way too expensive. My hubby and I may consider a few places after we retire.
