Yes, I am. However, compared to my Father's side, I grew up with my cousin's on my mother's side. in fact, they are all Godparents of my daughter. I even used to sleep at their house for as long as a month during summer breaks. Now we are all married with kids and it's so nice to see our kids playing and growing up together also. Our bond as cousins are stronger now that we have matured already.

My mom's family is from israel and I live in america, so I don't really get to see my cousins a lot. Also, most of them are ten or fifteen years older than me and already have steady jobs and families. I love them all very much, but I can't say that I'm terribly close with them. I only really talk to them once a year or so, around holiday time. Are you close with your cousins?

Earlier, we used to stay in a joint family, when we were very young. I have good relations with my cousins (be it brother or sisters). However, gradually, when all got married and settled in their respective families, the intensity in relationship came down. Everyone appears to be busy in his/her own family. I just try my best to keep coordial relations with all of them and do not forget to wish them on their special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries.

In Father side.. yes were close but not all of my cousins since most of them lives in the province that's why we don't have time to talk or bond

I am very close with my cousins on my mother's side. I was born and raised in a very small town so it was within driving distance to almost all of my family. We were brought up almost as brothers and sisters. As a matter of fact, my cousin was down from Minneapolis on the weekend and I turned to him for support as my mother passed away about a month ago from ALS and he was the one I turned to to hash out all the many feelings that go along with a daughter losing their mother.

No... I'm not so close with my cousins. I'll frankly tell you chismax that I have some rivalry issues regarding my cousins... It's a bit of being 'plastic' in treating one another or 'faking' smiles when we get to see each other.

I am very close my one cousin. I am 9 months older then him so we are the babys of the family kind of but yeah. We grew up together and we were always together. He even lived with us at one point for a while so we have always just been super close.. it was funny growing up because people never believed we were cousins! I have no idea why either.. in less its because he is darker skinned. he looks like he could be Hawaiian but hes not. He always tells people I am his favorite cousin and i always tell people the same about him.

Yes I am very close with my cousins. I grew up with them like my brothers and sisters. I am even close with my 2nd and 3rd cousins. It was awesome having family close. We would spend every holiday together and still do. I really couldn't imagine not knowing them.

Well I 'm not so close with all my cousins but with some of the cousins who studied together with me and live in the same place.

I Wounldn't have asked for much than my cousins. They are the best relations in my life. Who would like to help a cousin that much! They have always been a big support to me. I have an younger brother(blood form) also. But I am not attached with him that much...My cousins are the best for me...
