Do You Believe in Past Lives?

I know people have a different opinion about past lives because of their religion and their personal beliefs.
My religion doesn't belief in past lives and I didn't agree with many of its teachings and sayings so I no longer practice that belief anymore and they don't believe in reincarnation and past lives either. I believe in praying though as praying has helped me and I believe in doing good. That's my belief.
I will tell you my experience. Several years ago, I had a strange homesickness feeling about Italy. I've never been there in my present life. This homesickness feeling lasted for 2 years. Whenever I saw or read about something or saw something that had to do with Italy, I start feeling emotional and feel like that's my home.
After 2 years, this feeling subsided but I do still feel a little bit emotional whenever I think, read, or see that country but it isn't as bad as it was before.
I never got to find out who I was, I tried meditation and regression, but I always ended up asleep. And if I did have a past life in Italy this feeling is so strong, it's hard not to disregard it.
Another experience is is that my sister had trouble finding out who she was in a past life and she never told me any details of it. So I picked up on 2 of her past lives. I don't claim I'm psychic or anything but I tried to do this ONLY for fun.
When I was concentrating on my sister (she lives in a different state), I saw a "scene" where a young lady was being bounded in the forest by other men. This image stayed with me for about 5 minutes.
Then the image changed, the person in this image, looked different than the other person, except this person was a little white girl around 7 years old with curly hair. The attire looked from a different time period, she was wearing bloomers and the house and furniture looked old fashion so maybe it was late 1800s to the turn of the early 1900s.
This little girl I saw came from a wealthy family. Her mother always looked pale and often in her white nightgown. There was a maid/nanny there who took care of her and her siblings. Her younger brother died of an illness as a child, so it traumatized her mother because the son was her favorite child and lead to her depression.
The past life mother committed suicide and the little girl found her faced down in her bedroom and tried to wake up her mommie. There was blood everywhere. The last scene I saw was the little girl went to her playroom holding her dolly tightly in her arms and screamed.
In another scene, this same little girl ended up as a grown woman and was very depressed and suicidal. She often was introverted and wrote alot on her desk. She felt already an orphan by that time.
I relayed the "experience" I picked up and sent my sister an email about it. After she read everything, she said she was shaking and got depressed because she felt like she "remembered" everything I wrote.
In her present life, she is introverted and choose not to establish a relationship with anybody, she doesn't want to get close with anyone. She guards her feelings so she doesn't get hurt.
That's why her personality seems cold and bitter.
What are your experiences?

Wow!! That is really interesting! I've always been fascinated by the ideas of past lives. I have a couple phobias that I'm convinced are due to bad past life experiences.
I once read an interesting article about a hypnotist who specialized in exploring past lives. Many of his patients could come up with very specific details about past events and time periods while under hypnosis. It was pretty neat stuff! I wish I could remember more about the article...

I have not had any experiences with past lives but would like to blieve so in them. I have read a lot about the subject and even found your experiences interesting. Go with what you believe and try and find out more by just indulging in it. You may get your answers.

I also forgot to include that in her present life as a child, she often had puppy dog doll that she often dressed her up in clothes. She was attached to this toy. This toy made her feel safe.
That's probably why her past life as a child she had a favorite dolly and she held that doll after she found her deceased mom and this carried characteristic carried over to her present life.
