I've noticed many discussions started with referral links. Some don't get any responses, some get a few, but i avoid them because I don't want my earnings to go down and I don't see the the point of starting (or answering) a discussion just to put you link out there. It's against the TOS here too.

We all know, that money really matters. But some members here really doing their way to earn like you said putting their referral links which is a big NO NO here. It happens to me, that I post a discussion about referrals, but their kept on posting their link, I told them not to do that. I don't know maybe the discussion was deleted because I can't see it anymore. 2 days ago my earning went down like 7 cents. Maybe because of that, I don't know. Well, that's the only thing you earning will be deducted when you are violating some thing. But the issue here, I just made a discussion but I didn't post links but the other member who made responds. So, it really disappointed me, when my earning is decreasing.

That happened to me too, I had a discussion I started deleted because someone answered and put in a referral link. Of coarse I lost what money that discussion made. It's ok to try to get sign ups but to just ask someone to join a site and put up your link doesn't work well anyway.

I'm not sure if it's illegal if you are just discussing a program and are not putting up a referral link. If there is a referral link I either do not respond or I respond telling them to please read over the rules and not post such content as mylot disapproves and they'll only have it removed eventually. It's not worth it, mylot is a good program and we shouldn't cheat it.

Yes, we found some people inserted their referral links. What they did were not fair. But, they are their own responsibility, right?

Referral links are not allowed. If someone reports them, the discussion is deleted and anyone who responded to that discussion looses whatever pay they may have been credited with. I used to respond to warn them especially if they were new, but I don't any more. I'm afraid that if I keep doing it I'll get banned by association. The TOS is there for everyone to read, and if someone doesn't read it I say let them suffer the consequences, not me.
