How many hours do we use the internet? How many hours should we use it?

Oh man, way too many... it can't be healthy for me. I usually get online when I first wake up, and get off when I go to bed... and I only sleep 8 hours a night. You tell me how unhealthy that is. Still, that's how I communicate, and that's how I work, so..

i mostly use it to check my email and that seems to take forever these days. also, promoting my novel on my many profile pages and chatroom, which tends to be 2 or 9 hours a week. i think it depends on the individual and their lifestyle...bored people who want entertainment will stay on the internet longer...while people with busy work and social lives will tend to stay on the internet less... i personally feel people should have a balanced life...do a little bit of everything...work, social, friends, entertainment like internet...etc...

When I'm just in the office and workload is light, I can use the internet for up to 10 hours straight. But of course, there are times I'd do something else. I just miss using the internet when I'm assigned offsite. Weekends are internet free as I spend it with my family. Realistically, 10 hours is too much for me ---- unless your business is based online. I think an hour or two is quite right to check on your email and surf a little.

I use the internet half an hour a day.i donthave the time to spend that much time in front ofthe computer as i have a lot to study,but i think spending 1 hour daily in internet is sufficient.more use of the computer really leads tospraining of eyes and can lead to diesases like myopia,so i prefer that we should spend a limited amount of time in front of the computer.

i hate to respond this, but i spend around 3-4 hours a day or even more. this is very bad for me. lately, i have been trying to set a limit to surfing the internet a day because it might hurt my eyes. its bad that everything good has a bad inside it. i hope that one day i can limit this since its too hard!

Before I use to have the limited service of 150mb browsing but now I am having unlimited service of which I am using even 2 days of my browsing that means the use depends on the sevice u have been provided

I am presently using it for about 4- 5 hours a day. This is think is optimum for me. While deciding how much time you think is right keep these factors in mind.:- dont get addicted to it so that you neglect your other day to day activities, you do not loose your friends.
