do you prefer to watch news or you read news paper

Thats a tough one, but i guess id have to chose the news on TV, there are alot of stories you can read in the paper, but the news on TV keeps you more upto date and gives more information then the paper. Plus its alot easier to see and hear the news then it is to read it out of the newspaper

I prefer to watch news on television because it is easier and requires a lot less effort then reading a newspaper,that and I do not like reading a lot,because I get distracted easily,and tend to forger whatever I have read.

I think wtching news around the world on CNN makes a lot of sense, in most cases, these are usually breaking news which gets to te screens almost immediately, written news on papers take a little loger to reach people, thanks alot for this post!

I usually want to watch news on TV. Although it's a bit late compared to other media such as the internet (more updated than newspapers most of the time though). Anyway, I kinda preferred TV since most of the time, it's the way they present the news that make me watch them. But if I want news on demand, my preference would be the internet. Most really offer real-time accounts of events as they happen.

i like read news online. and also like watch news on tv. actually i'd like read newspaper. it feels great.

We subscribe Wall Street Journal newspaper so everyday someone deliver it for us but to be honest i am lazy reading it.My husband who used to read often seldom also read it now.Mostly i just watch news but sometimes i hate watching the same thing everyday like kidnap, murder, etc, etc.

I prefer to read the paper, but only get the paper once a week. What I get annoyed with is that I will read an article online on Thursday and then it will be in Sundays paper....

I did read the paper but now I watch the news more than the paper. With all the news channels that are on satellite you can't miss anything and they keep you up dated to the minute on any changes that take place. They get fresh news even before the paper does. So I would have to say the tv for the news i perfer.

i prefer to watch the news. i get to hear about the international news. i get to see if there are items in the stores are being recalled. i cant do that by reading the paper.

I like to read news than watch..only because u have limited amount of words to read which fulfills ur needs and do not waste much time..

I prefer reading the news online, that way I can skip the boring stuff that i don't want to hear about. There is a couple advantages of reading it online or watching it on tv. One advantage is, you get to hear about breaking news on the TV or online, because it is updated as the day goes on. The newspaper is published daily or weekly, so rather than getting today's news in a newspaper, you're really getting yesterdays news. Another advantage of reading it online vs. reading it in the paper is that in the paper you have limited space, so not all the stories come out in the paper. Rather, online you get as much space as your servers can handle (which is terabytes and terabytes of space).

i like watching the news because it give you more prospectives on certain things going on in the world.

I personally prefer looking at or reading the news on the internet. You can view whatever news you want. You can find everything from ancient news to present. In today's world, doing things on the internet is becoming more and more convenient.

I prefer read newspaper.I always read newspaper,while enjoy a cup of coffee or tea,you konw, it's so easy~ Watching news on tv,I think,it's like a robot. @_@

i find that i dont have a lot of time to sit and read a news paper, so i listen to the news on the radio in the morning and watch the news at night time. this way i get to know whats going on in the world.

I only watch the news on tv don't have time for much else. I do get the Wall Street journal for free and everyday it shows up I simply add it to pile. With the tv news I can sit there for a few minutes and get the idea what is going on around the world. To me, the press has a bad sense of twisting things so I don't put too much trust in the press or tv news.

I prefer newspapers. You get more detail and if you miss out something you can always read it over again. TV tends to move so fast and then, if your attention wavers in any way you can miss something you really want to see. Besides, with a newspaper, where things are written out, there are more interesting details and so you get a better idea about the news story. So I figure papers are better.

I prefer to watch news,though it calls for the support of computer,i think it's a much fast way to get the news from more regions.And the pictures will be more live,some are with videos,news will be more attractive and detailed. Maybe newspaper can be easily brought with :)

I usually prefer to read the newspaper. It carries lot more information than tv. It has the editorial section. I quickly look at the sports and business section adn skip the rest. This really saves time. I read newspaper also because there is no excitement. I find excitement everywhere. This get me irritated I watch tv only for sports news. There is video how the play went on. There is nothing like watching the closing ceremony with all players holding the cup in their hands.

I love to read the newspaper but the local newspaper isn't the best source for finding out what is happening in the world or even in the local area. I prefer TV news! It is the most up to date! In addition I like to check the internet for news. But I rely most on TV news for what is happening now and weather. The local newspaper just doesn't cut it in todays world.
